¿Qué es la acreditación?
La acreditación es un proceso voluntario mediante el cual una organización es capaz de medir la calidad de sus servicios o productos, y el rendimiento de los mismos frente a estándares reconocidos a nivel nacional e internacional. Las Administraciones Públicas deben garantizar la calidad de la formación dirigida a los profesionales sanitarios, constituyendo una pieza clave a estos efectos, la incorporación de un adecuado sistema de acreditación de la formación.
En el ámbito sanitario, entendemos por formación continuada toda actividad de enseñanza o aprendizaje que un profesional realiza, una vez concluida su educación universitaria, su formación profesional o de especialista, y que está encaminada a actualizar, mantener y mejorar su competencia profesional y no conlleva la adquisición de un nuevo título oficial.
En nuestro caso, es un proceso que reconoce la calidad de los programas formativos de nuestra institución colegial y cada año el ICOMZ solicita la acreditación de todas las actividades formativas del Plan de Desarrollo Profesional Continuo.
